Emma is currently working towards her Master of Science in Environmental Sustainability at the University of Ottawa, and is a Research Fellow at the Smart Prosperity Institute. She previously obtained her Bachelor of Commerce in Economics from Saint Mary's University in 2016, and then worked in Economic Research and Analysis at the Bank of Canada for a year. Emma's research with uOttawa is focused on carbon pricing in Canada, specifically the distributional impacts on vulnerable groups. Emma also works on contract as a Data Analyst for Group ATN, where she conducts economic analysis for projects pertaining to Indigenous communities in Atlantic Canada. When she is not working, Emma is either travelling, hiking, or playing her ukulele (or some combination of all three).
