Colleen is a Postdoctoral Fellow with the Smart Prosperity Institute working in the areas of agile regulatory systems and low-carbon transportation. Colleen holds a PhD in Environmental Studies from York University and a MSc in Environmental Policy and Regulation from the London School of Economics. Prior to joining Smart Prosperity in 2020, Colleen worked primarily as an environmental consultant and as a teaching assistant in York’s Faculty of Environmental Studies. During her PhD, Colleen served as an Ontario Policy Representative for the Joint Clean Climate Transport Research Partnership and as a research associate at the Robarts Centre for Canadian Studies. Colleen’s research interests include polycentric approaches to climate change governance, climate policy integration, and governance regimes for low-carbon transportation.
