Jonas Goldman is a Research Associate at the Smart Prosperity Institute where his focus is tracking existent techno-economic trends and identifying areas of strategic industrial policy intervention to de-carbonize and increase the competitiveness of the Canadian economy. His past professional experience has seen him work on energy retrofit policy in the office of MP Randall Garrison, and the identification of policy barriers in the Global South to the uptake of Agroforestry for the World Resource Institute. Jonas Goldman holds an MPA in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia’s School of International and Public Affairs. He has been published in the Sustainable Development Journal Consilience and the Columbia Public Policy Review on potential intergovernmental responses to the impacts of climate change. He thinks Frank Herbert is the greatest Science fiction author of all time and is an unsung philosophical heavy-weight.
