Kim is the Research Network Manager and a Post-Doctoral Researcher at Smart Prosperity Institute. Kim obtained her M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Environmental Engineering at Harvard University, where her research focused on infrastructure renewal, water resources planning and adaptation given climate change impacts. Prior to this, she completed her B.Sc. in Environmental Science at the University of British Columbia. She has experience working in the non-profit sector, both in Ottawa and in Cambridge, Massachusetts; in government in the Netherlands, specifically the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management; in the private sector in British Columbia; and in international development in sub-Saharan Africa.
