I am originally from Japan, and had spent my post-high school years in the US. I earned my BA in Economics at UC Davis, and my MA in Economics at University of Southern California. My motivation for research comes from my desire to help addressing the issue of global warming and climate changes. Investigating the economic impact of BC carbon tax is a step towards reaching my goal. In my free time, I love to spend time with my family, especially with my sons.
